They are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work on a full-time and permanent basis. Hybrid working is an option. Your new job as the Payroll Assistant:- Managing the end to end payroll process for circa 135 members of staff- Checking the number of hours employees have worked- Calculating wages and salaries- Issuing employees’ wages by BACS- Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data- Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation- Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them- Deducting tax and insurance payments- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters- Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accuratelyExperience and skills required to apply:- At least 2 years experience in a similar job i.e. Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Attention to detail- Organised and driven- Capable of working to deadlines- The ability to work under pressure- A team playerKenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
