Kenton Black Finance are supporting a business based in the Milnthorpe area who have been operating for over 100 years. Since the Company's early beginnings supplying the local and UK market, they have steadily increased their customer base on a global scale. Worldwide, they now serve over 220 clients in 49 countries with a product range that includes over 50 professional products. They are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to work on a full-time and permanent basis. Hybrid working is an option.

Your new job as the Payroll Assistant:

- Managing the end to end payroll process for circa 135 members of staff
- Checking the number of hours employees have worked
- Calculating wages and salaries
- Issuing employees wages by BACS
- Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
- Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation
- Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them
- Deducting tax and insurance payments
- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
- Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately

Experience and skills required to apply:

- At least 2 years experience in a similar job i.e. Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Organised and driven
- Capable of working to deadlines
- The ability to work under pressure
- A team player
