We are seeking a dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join our team in South Cumbria, starting on the 22nd of April. This role is perfect for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Business Studies to students at BTEC and GCSE KS4 levels.
- Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and adhere to curriculum standards.
- Maintain effective classroom management skills to foster a safe and productive learning environment.
- Demonstrate reliability, commitment, and the qualities of a good role model including compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience teaching Business Studies for BTEC and GCSE KS4.
- Excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, punctuality, and patience when working with children.
