SALARY - 28,000 to 32,000 per annum
Premier Engineering is working with a forward-thinking Engineering company based in Milton Keynes. They are looking to expand their team by hiring a CAD Technician to support their exciting range of projects.
The CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician within an engineering, construction, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and design principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for CAD design.
- A relevant engineering or design qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent).
- Experience with Acrylic and Timber would be advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for projects across various sectors.
- Working closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality designs.
- Ensuring all drawings meet the required technical and safety standards.
- Making revisions to drawings based on feedback and updates from the engineering team.
- Assisting with the creation of Bill of Materials (BOMs) and project documentation.
- Supporting the design team with any additional tasks as required.
