We are recruiting a Electrical Field service Engineer to work for an engineering company around the UK, the individuals will receive full training on the company product, this will be a home based position (company offices in Milton Keynes) with travel across the UK.

The role has a basic salary of 35,000pa (rising to 37,000 after probation) for a 38 hour week with enhancements for Overtime etc. The role is paid door to door (OTE around circa 40-42k mark)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Flexibility to attend customer premises for the repair, overhaul and upgrade of systems relating to core portfolio.
  • Analyse malfunctions, suggest corrective measures and undertake related activity according to work instructions.
  • Carrying out the work, troubleshooting and integration of existing systems, the implementation of preventative measures, the technical assessment of warranties as well as the suggestion of remedial measures in the event of malfunctions, etc.
  • Independent processing of replacement and repair orders in conjunction with the administrative team.
  • Prepare work reports as well as documentation of assembly process and progress.
  • Provide Electrical technical support and execute agreed services from service contracts.
  • Identification and repair of assembly and functional defects on a wide variety of assemblies.
  • Documentation of errors and damages. Recording of defective components, time spent and feedback of production orders for further order processing to the customer.
  • Complete Electrical/mechanical, pneumaticassembly of complex assemblies according to drawings, parts list and work instructions.
  • Flexibility in working where additional time (early morning, late evening, nights), weekends may need to be worked to complete the job/work.
  • Flexibility in traveling and staying out away from home.
