Are you the right person for the job?

Education & Experience:

  • Relevant technical qualifications (mechanical/electrical).
  • Prior experience in the print or packaging sector (preferred).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Full, clean driving licence (ability to tow a trailer is a bonus).

Desirable Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with print finishing and packaging machinery.
  • Familiarity with network-based remote support and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to stay calm and resolve technical issues under pressure while maintaining a customer-first approach.

What will your role look like?

  • Provide remote and onsite technical support for our print finishing and packaging machinery ranges.
  • Conduct machinery demonstrations, installations, and customer training sessions.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software faults, minimising downtime.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional customer service at every step.
  • Collaborate with overseas manufacturers to implement technical solutions.
  • Support the sales team at trade shows, customer events, and other promotional activities.
  • Maintain and manage vehicle parts stock, ensuring maximum first-time fixes.
