- Lead a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, focusing on planning, supervision, and review of work.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Business Tax department for the preparation and review of tax computations.
- Provide technical accounting and auditing support to the Audit Team, assisting with complex issues.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior staff, including delivering internal training sessions.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of Trainees and Apprentices, ensuring their work aligns with project goals.
- Assist in innovating audit processes, implementing new methods to enhance client engagements.
- Monitor project budgets, report variances to managers, and assist with billing processes.
- Support the business development efforts of the Audit function by contributing to proposals and client outreach.
- Finalist/Qualified accountant with experience in a Chartered Practice.
- Skilled in auditing and preparing accounts for entities with a turnover of up to £40 million, including group accounts.
- Experience with pension schemes, LLPs, FCA regulations, and charities is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using software such as CCH Accounts Production, CCH ProAudit, Alphatax, MS Office, Sage 50, QuickBooks, and Xero.
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications like Inflo is advantageous.
