Macildowie are working with a leading business within Financial Services to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their Group Reporting team, based in Milton Keynes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled finance professional to play a key role in the coordination and delivery of financial reporting at a group level. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, working closely with internal and international finance teams. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders across multiple divisions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinating financial reporting processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Preparing group consolidated financial statements and balance sheets across UK and international entities.
- Ensuring compliance with financial reporting regulations and disclosure requirements.
- Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring audit readiness.
- Working closely with technical accounting teams to provide solutions for new transactions and complex reporting requirements.
- Liaising with external auditors and responding to audit queries.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Need:
- To be Part or Fully Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).
- Experience working in a finance, cost, or financial reporting function.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modelling.
- The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- To be driven, with a strong work ethic.
- Keen eye for detail, with an analytical mind.
- Financial services experience (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of Oracle Financial systems (preferred).
