CMC Consulting has partnered with a market-leading business seeking a Financial Accountant for a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Financial Controller, playing a key role to support the financial controls and month-end.Duties include:

Preparation of financial reports and assist with month-end accounts.
Conduct in-depth reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
Assisting with budgets, forecasts and variance analysis, providing insightful commentary to support senior stakeholders.
Main point of contact for Tax
Ad-hoc duties, e.g. assisting the Financial Controller and support with transactional finance duties when needed

Due to the urgency of this role, you will be available to start on a short notice. You will have previous experience working as a Financial Accountant with robust financial controls knowledge. Strong excel skills are required.
