Salary/Day rate - negotiable - 3 days office - 2 remote
Education & Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Additional qualifications in finance systems, data analysis, or process improvement (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, Lean Six Sigma) or QBE would be advantageous.
- Strong background in finance operations, particularly Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and financial data management.
- Experience working with financial systems
- Familiarity with internal controls, data security, and compliance standards in financial processes.
- Proven experience in analysing financial processes and implementing automation to reduce manual intervention.
- High proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other BI tools).
- Ability to design, test, and implement data workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Experience in managing system interfaces, upgrades, and integrations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inefficiencies.
- Experience making data-driven decisions and influencing key financial and system developments.
- Ability to work with IT and finance teams to optimise system performance and reporting capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to train and support colleagues in financial systems and process improvements.
- Experience in liaising with external vendors and regulatory bodies for financial systems enhancements.
- Proactive and results-oriented, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational and project management skills to balance routine and ad-hoc responsibilities.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, fostering knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
- Adaptability to a dynamic environment with diverse stakeholder needs.
