Here at Simpson Judge we are working closely with a well-established, traditional private practice law firm that is seeking to hire an experienced Legal Cashier to join their friendly team. About the Role:
As a Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of the firm's financial transactions, including but not limited to:
* Processing client and office account transactions
* Maintaining accurate records and reconciliations
* Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
* Processing payments, receipts, and bank transfers
* Assisting with the production of financial reports
* Managing petty cash and client billing procedures
* Providing general support to the finance team
About You:
Ideally you will have prior experience working as a Legal Cashier in a private practice environment. A strong understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules is essential. You should be organised, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Key Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Legal Cashier (preferably within a law firm)
* Strong understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules (SAR)
