We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients finance team and play a critical role in managing costs and driving business performance.

Description

Management Accountant

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights into cost drivers and trends.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Oversee inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of stock levels and movements.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and support cycle counts or stock audits.
  • Analyze slow-moving and obsolete stock to optimize inventory levels.
  • Identify inefficiencies in manufacturing and financial processes and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with operations teams to streamline cost control measures.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure data integrity.
  • Act as a key financial partner to production and operations teams, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Support decision-making by delivering clear and actionable financial information.
  • Present financial reports and cost analysis to senior management.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Studying/Studied toward ACCA/CIMA
  • Proficiency in budgeting and cost control principles
  • Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and databases
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
