Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Compliance: Prepare and review annual statutory accounts under FRS 102 and 105.
  • Mentoring: Review work from trainees, ensuring quality and providing developmental feedback.
  • Client Engagement: Build lasting relationships and offer tailored advice to meet client needs.
  • Tax Compliance: Review tax computations, VAT returns, and ensure compliance with AML and GDPR regulations.
  • Innovation & Process Improvement: Drive internal efficiencies and contribute to team-wide improvements.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to deliver seamless advice and support.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: ACCA or ACA qualified.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a practice environment, with expertise in statutory accounts preparation.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Xero, IRIS, and other accounting software is desirable.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ability to anticipate client needs and provide solutions proactively.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive and innovative approach to challenges.
