Key Responsibilities:
- Statutory Compliance: Prepare and review annual statutory accounts under FRS 102 and 105.
- Mentoring: Review work from trainees, ensuring quality and providing developmental feedback.
- Client Engagement: Build lasting relationships and offer tailored advice to meet client needs.
- Tax Compliance: Review tax computations, VAT returns, and ensure compliance with AML and GDPR regulations.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Drive internal efficiencies and contribute to team-wide improvements.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to deliver seamless advice and support.
What We're Looking For
- Qualifications: ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Experience: Proven track record in a practice environment, with expertise in statutory accounts preparation.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Xero, IRIS, and other accounting software is desirable.
- Client-Centric Approach: Ability to anticipate client needs and provide solutions proactively.
- Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive and innovative approach to challenges.
