Our client is a small but growing accounting firm that is seeking a Qualified Accountant based in Milton Keynes on a full-time permanent basis. Summary of the Qualified Accountant Role

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000Location: Milton KeynesType of Contract: PermanentHours: Full time, Monday - Friday

Our client specialises in providing accountancy solutions to contractors and the self-employed. They want someone specialising in managerial accounting to help oversee operations and manage the team's workflow.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Accountant

  • Oversee and audit in-house bookkeepers.
  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts, corporate tax returns and VAT submissions.
  • Managerial Accounting including generating and analysing financial statements, budget plans, profit and loss statements and forecasting.
  • Accounting services on behalf of self-employed clients including bookkeeping, self-assessments and preparation and submission of year end accounts.

Requirements for a successful Qualified Accountant

  • Qualified AAT Level 4 or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Managerial Accounting experience.
  • Proven Bookkeeping experience.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent working knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
