Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide support to the Finance Director for a 12-month maternity cover role.
The position requires processing sales and purchase invoices, managing credit control, and handling supplier payments and reconciliations.
Candidates should have experience working for small businesses and be proficient in Word, Excel, and Sage.
The role offers a salary of £28,000 per year and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Additional responsibilities include payroll processing, VAT returns, and various payment methods.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to assist the Finance Director based on site on a 12 month maternity cover basis.

Duties to include:

Process sales and purchase invoices
Credit control
Deal with supplier payments and statement reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Process expenses / credit card transactions
Prepare and post Accounts Payable payments
Assist Financial Accountant with month-end routines
Payroll, including RTI on a monthly basis
Completion of VAT Returns
Payments by BACS, CHAPS, Cheque, Direct Debit and Standing Orders
Matching invoices to delivery notes
