Assistant Accountant

Butler Rose is delighted to be supporting our Milton Keynes-based client in their search for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the financial success of a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, make timely payments, resolve issues, and maintain supplier relationships.
• Issue invoices, follow up on payments, manage credit control, and keep accurate customer records.
• Support with payment runs
• Help prepare month-end reports and support the finance team in closing accounts.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Help prepare financial reports for management, offering insights and recommendations.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification.
• Good MS Excel Skills (Vlookups / Pivot Tables)
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence decisions.
• Proven attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
