SEND Administrative Officer

Start date: After October Half-term

Salary: £22,450 – £24,772 (actual salary)

Hours: 37 hrs per week, Monday – Friday

Are you an Administrator looking for a new challenge? Are you passionate about supporting young people and ensuring their educational needs are met? We are seeking a SEND Administrative Officer to join our Alternative Provision setting in Milton Keynes.

Your Role:

  • Provide essential administrative support to the SENCO, Principal, and Deputy Principal.
  • Maintain and analyse data, producing detailed reports.
  • Oversee students’ annual reviews, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Manage student data on SIMS and CPOMs.
  • Provide business support, including exam deadlines and student updates.

You must have:

  • Office Administration Experience: Proven track record in managing office tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and build positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and professionals.
  • Advanced IT Literacy: Proficient in using various software applications and managing databases.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding Procedures: In-depth knowledge of safeguarding practices to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Commitment to Professional Development: Eager to undertake further work-related training to enhance skills and knowledge.
