Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Administrator to manage and maintain .NET applications, services, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing .NET environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role requires expertise in the .NET framework, IIS, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Administration & Support:

  • Install, configure, and maintain .NET-based applications and services.
  • Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and maintenance on .NET environments.
  • Provide technical support, debugging, and resolution for .NET-related issues.

Server & Infrastructure Management:

  • Configure and manage IIS (Internet Information Services) for hosting .NET applications.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through backup and failover strategies.
  • Implement security policies to protect .NET applications and infrastructure.

Performance Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of .NET applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in server configurations, database connections, and application behavior.

Security & Compliance:

  • Implement best security practices, including secure configurations, encryption, and patch management.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits for .NET applications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security regulations and internal policies.

Automation & DevOps:

  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate deployments, monitoring, and configurations.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments.

Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Work closely with development teams to support and deploy new .NET applications.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, environments, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Provide regular reports on system health, performance, and security.

Incident & Problem Management:

  • Manage incident response for critical outages or performance issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in .NET technologies, including .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C#.
  • Experience in configuring and managing IIS for .NET applications.
  • Good understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices for web applications.
  • Familiarity with application monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, AppDynamics).
