Junior level FPGA Design Engineerwith competence using Xilinx Vivado, will join a rapidly growing Technology Company, specialists in the manufacture of test equipment for the Aerospace Industry.

Fully remote working; salary dependent upon experience, with applications welcome fromthose with a good Bachelors / Masters Degree + relevant Internship, a PhD incorporating FPGA Design or FPGA Designers seeking a new challenge early in their career.

Under new management, this exciting company seeks a self-starting Degree qualified FPGA Design Engineerwho has strong customer focus and is able to bring most of the following skills and knowledge:

  • FPGA Design and Verification with Xilinx Vivado and VHDL.
  • Test driven design using FPGA simulation.
  • Device protocols such as 12C or SPI.
  • Networking protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP or UDP/IP.
  • Interfacing with microprocessor hardware or firmware.
  • Some Embedded Software exposure good to see.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and produce detailed documentation.

In this FPGA Design role, successful applicants will support the companys previous generation of products based in the field as well as developing new products based on a modern large FPGA.

A salary in the range of £35-45k will be offered depending on your level of experience, your level of education and relevant skills.
