ROLE - Quality Engineer
LOCATION - Milton Keynes
SALARY - 38,000 - 45,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team, playing a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business. This position ensures compliance with customer requirements, industry regulations, and internal quality management systems. Serving as the primary contact for quality-related customer interactions, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with various departments to uphold high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert quality support across all departments to maintain compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
  • Ensure customer specifications and quality requirements are clearly understood and integrated into operational processes.
  • Serve as the main quality liaison for customers, addressing quality-related inquiries and ensuring their expectations are met.
  • Prepare and submit AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) or other customer-required quality documentation.
  • Assess and resolve non-conformance issues, collaborating with quality control teams and relevant departments.
  • Conduct first article inspections in alignment with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or customer quality management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems and industry-specific standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively working with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Hands-on experience with quality audits, compliance verification, and process improvement initiatives.
