Accounts Receivable Clerk
Invoice Management:
- Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and company policies.
- Review sales orders, delivery documentation, and credit terms to ensure correct invoicing.
Collections and Payment Processing:
- Proactively monitor and manage outstanding receivables, following up with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure timely payments.
- Record and process incoming payments (including electronic transfers, cheques, and cash), ensuring correct allocation to accounts.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
