Description

Accounts Receivable Clerk

Invoice Management:

  • Prepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and company policies.
  • Review sales orders, delivery documentation, and credit terms to ensure correct invoicing.

Collections and Payment Processing:

  • Proactively monitor and manage outstanding receivables, following up with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure timely payments.
  • Record and process incoming payments (including electronic transfers, cheques, and cash), ensuring correct allocation to accounts.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Clerk should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
