HR Business Partner

Location: Milton Keynes, with travel to Midlands/North England required. Minimum of 3 days per week on-site.

Salary: £70-80K, plus bonus potential

Role Type: Permanent

We have partnered with a leading name within manufacturing in the search for a HR Business Partner. This role offers the opportunity to make significant impact and would be suited to an experienced HR Business Partner already familiar with the complexities of an industrial/manufacturing landscape.

Working closely with the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in the development HR strategy, partner with key stakeholders across the business and lead a small team of local HR to ensure effective implementation across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate will be located within a commutable distance of the role's primary location in Milton Keynes, and able to travel to best support your stakeholder group, located within local proximity to Milton Keynes, the Midlands and the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR direction and advisory services to manufacturing leaders
  • Lead and develop a small team of local HR, maintaining an oversight of general HR activities across multiple sites
  • Lead on complex/escalated ER, including union negotiations and appeals
  • Focus on strategies surrounding talent management, career mapping and capability building within the employee network
  • Providing a link between Head Office and to ensure significant period of business transformation

Desired Experience:

  • Robust business partnering background within Manufacturing or a related sector
  • Experience within a multi site role with a largely blue collar, operational workforce
  • Strong understanding of UK Labour Law and employee relations.
  • Leading through significant change such as the set up and opening of new sites, site closures, changes in production lines etc
