Job Title: Team Manager - Family Support Team
Length of assignment: 3 Months
Hours per week:37
Hourly rate:45
Location: Civic Offices, Milton Keynes
Remote/Office based: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office
- Ensure the Council performs its duties and functions in fulfilment of its statutory obligations in relation to child protection including authorisation of assessments, reports and care plans
- Coordinate the complex work of the team ensuring cases are allocated appropriately and promptly; responding to crisis by directing the work of the team to ensure urgent action is taken to prevent escalation of the problem.
- Ensure that all staff are trained, supervised, developed and supported to provide the best possible outcomes for children, families and carers
- Monitor the team's performance in relation to local and key performance indicators
