Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Facilities Assistant for a temporary contract lasting three months from May to July, requiring full-time availability from Monday to Saturday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.
Candidates must have prior experience in a similar facilities role and possess skills in minor building repairs, plumbing, and basic electrics.
The role involves liaising with contractors, painting and decorating, and performing manual handling tasks such as moving furniture when necessary.
Responsibilities also include managing recycling duties and overseeing the car park, which may involve communicating with individuals about parking issues.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience.

We are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join our client on a 3 month temporary contract from May until end of July (no holiday must be taken during this period)

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday 7.30am-4.30pm (Must be able to work these 6 days per week)

We require someone with a proactive nature.

Must have experience in a similar facilities position.
Experience of carrying out minor building repairs such as plumbing and basic electrics
Liaise with any contractors
Painting and decorating skills
Able to carry out manual handling duties such as moving furniture if/when needed
Handling the recycling duties for the building
Ability to look after the car park which may include communicating with people to move cars if not in correct space.
