About The RoleMain Duties:

  • Support and assist the Service Road Team / Housekeeping
  • Waste collection, recycle of waste and provide support and advice to Retailers
  • Provide adequate information to the Service Road Team that report into you.
  • Carry out reactive works, could involve supporting Events logistics of equipment to removal of stock from closed units
  • Monitor staffing levels and ensure sufficient cover.
  • Experience of dealing with COSHH and Risk assessments for staff
  • Support wider business requirements in view of Ad Hoc requests
  • Good understanding of cleaning machinery, Compactors, FLT and usage
  • Scheduling for job roles
  • Selection and Resourcing
  • Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
  • Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
  • Pro-actively look at ways to improve upon recycling rates, with attendance to Waste provider site and Environmental seminars to ensure up to date of new innovation

To be successful in the role:

  • Experience within Waste Sector / Recycling / Environment / H&S experience
  • Driving licence - Essential
  • FLT licence - Essential
  • Self-driven - work well on own and as part of team
  • Stock control experience of consumables
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
