Class 2 Driver

The Best Connection arelooking for HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Milton Keynes. The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.

You must hold a valid LGV C, Class 2 UK licence with no more than 6 points, a UK digital tachograph card & a full DQC (CPC card).

Start times can be from 05.00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
• Suport the drivers mate in unloading and some small installation of products - beds/ vending machines
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or defects.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.

Qualifications:

• A Full Valid UK Licence with Category C
• A Valid CPC and Digital tacho card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Must have previous multidrop driving experience.
• Good knowledge of the UK roads
• Clear and concise communication skills
