Job Opportunity: Commercial Gas EngineerLocation: Milton Keynes & Surrounding AreasSalary - Up to £45,000 We are currently assisting a valued client in their search for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis. The company, based in Milton Keynes, operates withinthe commercial and industrial sectors across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas, delivering high-quality services to a diverse range of clients.Key Responsibilities:As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial heating systems, ensuring the continued smooth operation of equipment for a number of prestigious commercial clients.Your main duties will include: Service, repair, and installation of commercial heating systems (boilers and associated equipment) Diagnostic fault finding and troubleshooting Purging, strength testing, and installation of gas pipework (up to or above 6”) Completing and maintaining PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) paperwork Ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of plant equipment Adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations Carrying out work in a safe and professional manner at all timesRequired Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must hold the following essential qualifications and experience:OFTEC COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety ICPN1 Installation First Fix on Commercial Pipework CIGA1 Indirect Fired Commercial Appliances CDGA1 Direct Fired Commercial Appliances CORT1 Overhead Radiant Tube & Radiant Plaque Heaters TPCP1a Tightness Testing & Direct Purging of Pipework (up to 1m³) Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in commercial environments Full, clean UK driving licenseDesirable Qualifications: IPAF-Certified PAL Card WRAS qualifications TPCP1 Tightness Testing & Purging (above 1m³)Benefits:In return, the client offers a competitive salary and a supportive working environment, including: Company van, mobile phone, and pension Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Clear career progression Regular team-building events, as well as family-friendly activitiesIf you are a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career with a reputable company, apply today!
