  • We are seeking an IT Service Manager for a 9-month hybrid contract in Milton Keynes with a competitive day rate outside IR35.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Service Management environment and possess Active SC clearance.
  • Key responsibilities include ensuring service delivery quality, managing customer service, governance, SLAs/OLAs, and operational management.
  • The ideal candidate should be ITIL Expert (V3) or ITIL Managing Professional (V4) qualified and proficient in Microsoft Productivity Tools.
  • Experience in government or defense sectors, as well as knowledge of ServiceNow and other service management tools, is desirable.
We are currently seeking an IT Service Manager to work with our Public Sector client. Excellent day rate Outside IR35Location: Hybrid – Milton Keynes 9 month contractThe ideal candidates will have a proven Service management background with Active SC clearance with the following skillsets/experience:The purpose of the Service Management Capability (SMC) is to ensure the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery within the portfolio; this is achieved through monitoring performance and leveraging best practices. The SMC should always act in the best interests of the client and the customer, positioning as an escalation point and being accountable for ensuring smooth, consistent service delivery.

  • Working use of Microsoft Productivity Tools - Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
  • Experience of managing complex stakeholder groups with differing requirements and priorities
  • Ability to deliver and continually improve high quality management information and reports, including delivery to senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and other Service Management toolsets
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within Government, ideally with a background in Defence, National Security, or with the FCDO
  • Experience of Process definition, administration, measurement, management and audit, namely on ISO9K, 20K & 27K
  • Experience working within a matrix environment
