Job Description: Area Sales Manager

£36,000 - £38,000 + uncapped bonus, company car, fuel card, company pension, mobile, tablet, 25 days holiday.

Sales area: Leicester, Peterborough, Northampton, Milton Keynes, St Albans, Reading.

Working from home, you will have autonomy to manage your sales area in order to achieve sales and activity objectives.

Inheriting a business base of 42 garden centre accounts your brief is:

  • Create a journey plan that maximises contact time with existing and new accounts.
  • Provide a first class service to existing garden centre customers by working with the merchandising team.
  • Follow up on sales leads provided by head office and visit other non-trading accounts to increase stockist numbers.
  • Report sales progress, activity and competitor information on a weekly basis
  • Achieve targets for sales, margin and customer numbers.

Candidate Profile: Area Sales Manager

  • We are looking for a talented field sales professional with experience of selling to garden centres and a proven ability to influence change:
  • Living in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire
  • 3ys+ experience of sales to garden centres
  • A self-driven, results-oriented and focused character who takes responsibility for sales growth and new customer acquisition
  • A natural people person who builds strong relationship easily
  • Great team player and communicator
