The Role - Business Development Manager:

  • A specification and contractor sales role, creating demand for a range of breathable A1 fire rated fibre cement building, cladding and sheathing boards
  • Tracking and winning commercial and high-rise residential building envelope projects across the private and public sectors
  • With education, healthcare, leisure and high-rise being key target markets
  • Securing projects with architects, main contractors, high-rise developers, cladding and building envelope subcontractors
  • You will also get to work alongside, share leads and track projects with colleagues in the facades team
  • There could also be the opportunity for the successful applicant to build a small team around them in time

The Successful Applicant - Business Development Manager:

  • A field sales professional with a proven track record within the construction industry
  • Preferably you will have some sales experience from within the building envelop sector
  • Although this is not essential and my client will happily recruit from other specification or contractor lead construction backgrounds
  • You will also have first class communication and presentation skills, with a consultative and target led approach to field sales
