Inside Sales Consultant – New Business & Account Manager – Medical Imaging Systems.  Remote role - This highly successful global systems group in the Medical / Healthcare space has some great brands and reputation in their industry.  They seek an experienced business development manager / Account Manager / (or someone who simply has a good knowledge of imaging who wishes to step into a sales role) who has a proficiency for new business sales.

Inside Sales Consultant – the role:

Working in a small focused team, this role will see you selling a range of medical imaging systems (from smaller units valued at perhaps £3k-£4k) to larger ones from £30k (and some even larger to £100k+).

Via a CRM, with thousands of clients to sell to, 70% will currently or have historically used my client’s systems, so the true ‘cold calling’ element of the role will only be perhaps 30%.

The role balances managing sales funnels and closing the business on the larger capital equipment sales (the smaller systems almost take care of themselves!), with working on various campaigns to sell items such as: software, POS bolt-ons, upgrades, and so on.

The core of the position will see you communicating and presenting to clients using Teams.

Although a global company, the UK operation has a smaller company feel (many of the staff have worked there for years) and they have a highly collaborative operation.  You’ll be provided with ongoing support from the sales manager.

Location:  The client’s UK offices is based in the Southeast, but the company operates a remote model, so you’ll be home-based 99% of the time (it’s rare these days to have to visit a client but it can happen on occasion, or perhaps attending a trade show).

Inside Sales Consultant – the person:

The client seeks candidates with previous experience of selling capital equipment to the medical or health industry, however they will look at people with strong client facing skills who have knowledge of imaging systems, who wish to make the move to a business development role.

Salary:  Basic to around £35,000, however the (very achievable) commission can see you earning a further £23,000 (uncapped).  Benefits cover 25d holiday, 6% pension, and health-related.
