Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Team Manager. They are looking for an experienced and dynamic sales team leader looking to make an impact for the business which

distributes products collectively serving the outdoor sports and leisure industry.

You will be a proactive manager to drive excellence and ensure seamless operations within the dedicated Sales Support Teams and to support field-based sales team.

The Role

Responsible for managing and motivating a high-performing team of sales support professionals, ensuring the smooth processing of orders, engage with customers, both inbound and outbound, to promote products and delivering an exceptional experience for retail partners. You’ll collaborate with sales, logistics, and customer service teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and drive sales growth with a well-established customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales support team to meet and exceed targets
  • Handle inbound sales calls, answer customer enquiries, provide information about products
  • Make outbound calls, contact customer with specials offers and promotions
  • Oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales support or customer service management (preferably in a B2B

environment)

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide tailored support
  • Identify process improvements and implement efficient systems to boost performance
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints, delivering outstanding service at every touchpoint
  • Report on team performance, sales data, and customer feedback to senior management
  • A passion for outdoor sports and leisure is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive problem solver with a customer centric mindset
