Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team within the conveyors industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of conveyor system projects, from initial design and planning through to installation and commissioning.


Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

Design and Engineering:

  • Collaborate with design engineers to create innovative and efficient conveyor system solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain:
  • Source and procure necessary equipment, materials, and components.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favourable terms.
  • Coordinate the logistics and delivery of materials to project sites.

Installation and Commissioning:

  • Oversee the installation of conveyor systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough testing and commissioning to verify the system's performance and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the commissioning phase.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the conveyors industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of conveyor system design principles, components, and operations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
