This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure project that will enhance the region's transportation network. Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the successful execution of this complex highway project, providing technical expertise and support to the construction team.
- Assist with the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Champion safety on the project, promoting a culture of awareness and ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
Qualifications:
- Highway & Structural Expertise: Proven experience as a Project Engineer on highway or road construction projects, with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles relevant to highway structures.
- Planning Proficiency: Proficiency in using scheduling software, such as Primavera P6, to manage project plans and track progress effectively.
- Technical Skills: A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations relevant to highway works.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team. Strong problem-solving skills to manage technical challenges and find solutions.
- Safety Focus: A commitment to safety, with a proven ability to implement and uphold the highest safety standards.
