WSR is recruiting for a Project Support Executive for our esteemed client in Milton Keynes.

Reports To: Head of Project Sales

Job Overview

The core mission of the Project Support role is to manage projects through the sales process in view of booking meetings for the project Consultant, following the projects through by phone and doing final checks and adjustments to quotation schedules ready for ordering. This position requires the ability to work as a team and to fit into our Clients  culture.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Following projects through from qualification to order. This is predominantly via the phone, but email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn etc are also useful tools in addition to this.
  • Updating quotation schedules as requested by customers throughout the sales process.
  • An ability to answer questions asked over the phone, email or online chat. This would come from internal technical product training.

  • A deep understanding of what makes our Client the organisation it is and the foundation on which it is built.
  • An overview of the business model, structure and the workflow and processes from end to end of the business.
  • The ability to plan, control and manage your time and tasks to accomplish your goals. Managing this allows you to balance the conflicting demands of your role, your team’s roles and the business needs, ensuring they are met and remain under control and manageable.
  • Effective communication, ability to express ideas and views clearly and concisely either verbally or in written form.
  • The ability to navigate and utilise the Pipedrive CRM system effectively
  • An understanding of the specific sales structure, process and elements involved.
  • An overview of what the products are, how to sell the products using all the features and benefits.
  • A clear understanding of each product and its specific details, what situations it is used in and the certifications required.
  • The art of selling, how to do it and the different ways to sell.
  • Understand the industry they work in, the different entities they deal with and industry standards.
  • An overview of fire certification and why it’s important.
  • An in-depth knowledge of how to use excel.
  • A good knowledge of competitors for their portfolio of systems, and the relevant benefits compared to their competitors’ products.
  • Professional and consistent on the phone when answering or making calls, and the relevant skills for proactive telephone prospecting, selling, appointment booking and negotiation.
