CNC Machinist required to work for manufacturing company based in Milton Keynes, main responsibilities to include setting/operating CNC machines, manufacturing a variety of components from engineering drawings.
Immediate start for the right candidate.
Daily Duties
* Responsible for manufacturing all components within the agreed timescales,
* Responsible for setting a variety of CNC machine tools for operators as and when required,
* Responsible for using a wide range of measuring equipment to check small-batch components after manufacture
* Responsible for maintaining the agreed quality rating at all times,
* Responsible for making sure that manufactured product is suitably protected for transit,
* Responsible for working in the order of the manufacturing plan at all times,
* Responsible for making sure that all manufacturing paper work is filled out correctly,
* Responsible for carrying out all tasks allocated by the Team Leader in a timely and efficient manner,
* Responsible for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained at all times,
* To support team members with other tasks as and when required,
* To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health & Safety procedures,
* To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
Additional info
Hours; 7.30am-4pm Monday to Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm Friday
Rate/Salary: 14-16.00 per hour
