Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Turner for our client based in Milton Keynes for a permanent role.

What Youll Be Doing:
As a CNC Machinest, your role will involve programming, setting, and operating a lathe equipped with motorised turret (live tooling) and Y Axis.


Your expertise in CNC equipment programming, setup, and operation will be crucial in meeting production goals and maintaining quality standards.


  • Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling, including Y Axis, to perform tasks such as milling and turning.
  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision components from customer-supplied drawings and data.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
  • Program CNC machines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
