We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our clients growing team. This exciting role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with live tooling and 'Y’ Axis. Your experience with this type of machinery will be an advantage as you help the client meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling, including 'Y’ Axis, for milling and turning tasks.

  • Operate CNC machines to produce precision components from customer drawings and data.

  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.

  • Program CNC machines for optimal production output.

  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure performance and efficiency.

  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues during the process.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • GCSE Level education (or equivalent).

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with a strong understanding of machining principles.

  • Proficiency in programming and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
