Construction Administrator

£23-32,000

Due to expansion we have an opportunity for a Construction Administrator to join a thriving construction companyin Milton Keynes.

You will be working from a newly built, modern open plan office complete with an onsite gym, with a dedicated, friendly team.

This privately owned business will offer you progression within the construction field, an attractive benefits package, including a profit related bonus, and a fun, proactive working environment.

The role

You will be assisting a Contracts Manager with the following tasks to help deliver construction schemes from start to completion

Full training will be given

1. Review of job specifications and pricing documents
2. Competitive purchasing of all materials and equipment throughout the project
3. Sourcing, managing and overseeing of subcontractors.
4. Managing and updating project programs in conjunction with the contracts manager
5. Regular client liaison to provide fortnightly progress reports.
6. Monthly project valuations and invoicing
7. Pricing of any variations to the contract and additional works which arise.
8. Review of budgets on each project with a view of maximizing profitability
9. Ensure H&S is maintained on all sites.

What we are looking for in return.

Experience of working in a similar role, construction experience is preferred
Excellent organisational skills and experience managing own workload.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Computer literate
You will have a desire to work in the construction industry.
