We are recruiting for a diverse Coordination Manager role, which is multifaceted and is crucial to the success of our clients plumbing and heating business. This requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication, and strong organisational skills.

As a Coordination Manager you will be responsible for visiting client properties, surveying their needs, accurately estimating project costs, and then managing those projects through to completion. Involved with the full life-cycle of projects from inception through to completion, including aftercare.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Attend site visits to domestic and commercial properties to assess plumbing and heating project requirements
  • Surveying & Estimation for a variety of projects, including installations, upgrades, repairs and maintenance
  • Identify potential challenges, such as access limitations or existing pipework issues and providing solutions that meet client needs, comply with regulations, and optimize efficiency
  • Effectively communicate with clients to explain proposals, answer technical questions, and address concerns
  • Coordinate and supervise our own engineers and any specialist subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project specifications and timelines
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing regular updates on progress and addressing any issues promptly
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on all project sites
  • Manage project finances, including invoicing
  • Conduct post-project reviews to gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in the plumbing and heating industry
  • Extensive knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating systems
  • Experience in estimating and quoting for plumbing and heating projects
  • Strong understanding of relevant building regulations and safety standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects effectively, including planning, budgeting, and problem-solving
  • Full driving license.
