The main aim of this role is to improve the project conversion rate by overseeing activities at a vital point in the tendering process. This includes taking a proactive approach and following up promptly with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure thorough and precise project information is gathered. The role entails understanding key project elements, identifying key contacts, and actively seeking solutions to inform the next steps, escalating matters when necessary.
- Develop detailed project profiles for projects in phases 4 and 5, with a focus on identifying the main contractors bidding on each project.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring consistent communication with all involved stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure contractor lists are current and distribute these alongside contract terms using standard communication procedures.
- Work closely with the Lead Management team to follow up with main contractors after the contractor lists are shared. If a contractor opts not to receive the information, understand their reasons and offer alternative solutions or next steps.
- Schedule follow-ups via phone and email with contractors to confirm they are pricing the tenders after receiving the packages, potentially contacting the main contractor if needed.
- Provide alternative contractors where others are unable to submit pricing for tenders.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders if contractors require assistance in pricing a tender.
- Follow up with main contractors to confirm receipt of pricing, carefully questioning them to determine if the tender is being considered and to clarify timelines.
- Log all activities in real-time in CPS, ensuring that everyone involved has accurate and up-to-date visibility of the project status.
- Build and maintain relationships with main contractors and partners to increase project conversion rates.
