WSR are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team of our esteemed client based in Milton Keynes.Location: Milton Keynes - 3 days office based / 2 days remoteReports to: Head of Projects

Project EngineerOverviewWe are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Client's team in Milton Keynes. You will ensure technically that we deliver the correct solution to the customer, that the commissioning is completed satisfactorily, and the handover is signed off by the customer.

Project Engineer Role Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Technical Appraisal / Scope and Design of the Project
  • Site visits to confirm scope of project with the customer
  • Completion of project scoping documents for internal and external use
  • Creation of project plans using Microsoft project planner
  • Project Budget control and resource time management escalating any issues in a timely manner
  • Preparation of the commissioning plan and technical documents
  • Liaising with the Head of Projects to ensure all required resource is in place for project completion
  • Resolution of deliverable issues during the whole life of the project, and timely escalation of issues to the Head of Projects
  • Preparation and completion of project documentation to fulfil the contract requirements, smooth running of the project and final handover to the client and the Service organisation
  • Final handover and sign-off of the project

Project EngineerAttributes, Experience and Qualifications:Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering discipline, ideally process engineering
  • Comfortable reading technical documents and liaising with external parties
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
  • Comfortable with the office 365 suite
  • HND or equivalent in an engineering field

Desirable:

  • Process engineering experience
  • Comfortable reading electrical wiring diagrams
  • Experience using Microsoft project planner
  • Experience managing small capital projects
