About the Role
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and follow the lesson plan provided.
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively.
- Support students with their learning, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Liaise with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery and feedback on class progress.
- Assist in other areas of the school, such as supporting extracurricular activities, if required.
About You
- Experience in a similar role or working with young people in an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Confident in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Flexible and adaptable, with excellent organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
