Your responsibilities will include:• Facilitating the design and development of assessments and criteria for qualifications, ensuring compliance with Ofqual, IFATE, and industry standards.• Developing and implementing robust quality assurance frameworks and processes to secure and maintain regulatory approvals.• Collaborating with universities to introduce newly approved qualifications through partnership and joint initiatives.• Supporting the development and approval of Construction-focused qualifications at Levels 4-6, including Apprenticeships and Higher Education programmes.• Leading compliance activities to achieve recognition as an Awarding Body and EPAO, working closely with regulatory bodies.• Representing the organisation as an ambassador, building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including training providers, universities, and colleges.• Managing and mentoring a team, with the role evolving into a leadership position, overseeing at least three staff members.________________________________________Candidate SpecificationWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional with the following:Key Experience:• Strong background working with awarding bodies, EPAOs, or Higher Education institutions.• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including Ofsted, Ofqual, Office for Students, and IFATE.• In-depth understanding of apprenticeships and Higher Education qualifications up to degree level.• Proven experience in designing assessments and collaborating with universities to develop and approve qualifications.• Experience in launching or scaling new business functions within the education or training sectors.Skills and Attributes:• Exceptional communication and networking abilities, with a proven track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.• Strategic mindset with strong organisational skills, capable of managing complex projects and teams.For more information, please phone Simon Atkins at Newcastle Pertemps on
