Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner who will work closely with key business stakeholders and the People Business Partner to develop and implement targeted learning solutions that enhance the skills of their partner function teams, aligning development initiatives with business goals to drive performance, revenue growth, and market competitiveness.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • To support the Director of Learning and Development – Central Functions and Lender Services with the design and delivery of the overall Central Functions and Lender Services learning and development strategy and agenda
  • Build strong relationships with central function leaders and People Business Partners to understand business priorities, challenges and skill gaps, ensuring functional learning initiatives are aligned with business objectives, directly support commercial performance goals, engagement, retention and talent development
  • Empower all colleagues across central functions to know how to access all learning and how to continue to learn and develop both professionally and personally
  • To evaluate and report consistently on all interventions providing periodic reviews on all expected ROIs
  • Support the drive of a culture of learning, continuous personal learning and development and high performance
Your experience and skills will include:
  • Proven experience (ideally a minimum of 5 years) in Learning & Development, with a focus on supporting commercial or customer-facing business functions
  • Strong background in stakeholder management, partnering with leaders to identify learning needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs, including blended and digital learning initiatives
  • Experience and clear understanding of how to embed learning using a variety of techniques
  • Experience of creating learning interventions using social, digital and face to face learning techniques
  • Experience in implementing pre/post Evaluation
  • A strong team player who can work cross-functionally with commercial/ operational teams and senior leaders and who provides support and guidance to others within the team
  • Change agent - comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment with the ability to pivot and respond to emerging business needs and work with ambiguity
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to work well under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines
  • Methodical and detail orientated when required
  • Adopts the ethos of a company and champions it
  • Willingness to travel and be away from home when necessary
