Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our Research and Analytics team. The role is a hybrid role with the office location being Milton Keynes. The Data Analytics Manager role will help to deliver and grow the Research Consultancy and provide ad-hoc support to the wider Research function. The successful applicant will support on demand market metrics which in turn supports client relationships and the maximisation of internal opportunities. The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of multiple databases and the ability to convincingly convey summarised data. It is important that this role is enthusiastic about making a measurable contribution to the profitability and overall growth of the Research department through effective and demonstrable pipeline management, prospecting activity, face-to-face visits, and networking.Key responsibilities of the Data Analytics Manager:
  • Through a deep understanding of our data and databases, streamline all residential market metrics for the Research team to utilise information collectively.
  • Work with the Research team to identify new opportunities and market reporting – the aim will focus on Connells Group Research being the forefront of leading information.
  • Streamline internal and external reporting and primarily support B2C clients across our division. This will largely be through our Research Consultancy value proposition to internal/external customers to generate and maximise research consultancy opportunities.
  • Work with the Research team to develop and make improvements to the Market Reports to ensure their ongoing relevance and value to clients.
  • Providing project and departmental support as required.
Experience & skills required to be successful as a Data Analytics Manager:
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel and detailed knowledge of SQL.
  • Understanding of relational databases and the ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources if required.
  • Ability to work with multiple data sets in different formats.
  • Desire to expand technical and data skills such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Strong client (on demand) focus, committed to providing high-quality services and solutions.
  • Relates well to others, effective at relationship and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with impact and clarity.
  • Works well when part of a team pursuing a common goal.
  • Adaptable to changing business and client needs, positively using any feedback that may be provided.
  • Initiative-taking in seeking new business opportunities for self and others.
  • Comfortable planning/prioritising work and reporting progress
  • Self-starting with a positive "can-do" approach, facing unexpected challenges enthusiastically and finding opportunities to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent command of written and verbal English.
