Collections & Recoveries Advisor

Our client global leader in the automotive industry, renowned for innovation, reliability, and quality.

We are currently recruiting for a collections and recoveries advisor to join their wonderful team.

The Collections and Recoveries Advisor is responsible for managing arrears cases, ensuring positive customer outcomes, and making commercially balanced decisions in line with policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality customer support to those facing financial difficulties during their agreements.
  • Investigate and resolve arrears using initiative and first-contact resolution when possible.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., solicitors, debt collection agencies) to manage arrears cases.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA, TCF, and vulnerable customer guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processes.
  • Prioritise and manage high-volume workloads while meeting service levels.


Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems (e.g., CRM, SAP).
  • Experience in collections, preferably within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Emotional intelligence and resilience.


This role is a temporary contract starting ASAP until mid 2025.
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Paying 14.53 / 26,444 salary equivalent.
