Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Reliability Engineer looking for a new challenge? Were offering an exciting opportunity at our clients manufacturing site in Milton Keynes, where youll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of their systems and equipment.

Your Role:
As a Reliability Engineer, youll play a vital role in keeping the operations running smoothly, using engineering principles to ensure systems and equipment are reliable, efficient, and safe. Youll work across design, testing, and maintenance phases, always striving for improved equipment performance and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reliability modelling, root cause analysis (RCA), and failure analysis to design improvements and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collect and analyse performance data, producing reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure reliability is embedded in the development of new systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and provide technical support to field teams.
  • Be an advocate for continuous improvement, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.

The Ideal Reliability Engineer:

  • You have a strong background in reliability engineering, ideally with experience in a multi-skilled food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • HNC in a relevant engineering discipline, with 3+ years of experience. A Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering is a plus
  • Experience with reliability tools (FMEA, FTA, RCM) and reliability software.
  • Familiarity with computerised maintenance systems and data analysis techniques.
  • Accuracy and a right-first-time approach are crucial, with a keen ability to spot discrepancies.
  • You have a creative, analytical, and methodical approach to tackling challenges.
  • A proactive mindset, always ready to drive improvements.
