We are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Specialist to work for a company in Milton Keynes. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

This is a FTC role for 3 months.

Please note: This role is FULLY office based with no remote working.

Job Summary

As a valued member of the global Regulatory team, the Regulatory Specialist supports the compliance of raw materials with appropriate regulations, gathers various data, information and conformity declaration, and serves as a regulatory resource to internal customers. Maintains technical databases related to raw materials, understands, respects, and acts ethically when dealing with matters related to regulatory compliance. In this responsible position you are working closely with national and international colleagues.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Gathering of raw material technical information from suppliers, whilst building effective working relationships
  • Provision of raw material documentation to external agencies, including Kosher/Halal/non-GMO
  • Uploading raw material documentation
  • Import current raw material documents.
  • Support the efficient approval of urgent raw material introductions by actively communicating open tasks with approvers
  • Adheres to regulatory procedures to assure compliance policies.
  • Utilizes authorized systems for maximum efficiency and consistency.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely raw material data entry into these systems.
  • Develops relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance personal and company effectiveness.

Education, Experience & Competencies:

  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Data management experience.
  • Experience working with database systems, and their management.
  • Strong communication skills, especially requesting information and influencing suppliers.
  • Can manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excel data evaluation experience/skills a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in food ingredient raw materials would be an advantage .
